clkr.me provides a free, stateless URL shortening service. The service encodes long URLs using Base64 encoding and generates short links. No URLs are stored, and no user accounts are required.

2. Acceptable Use

You may use clkr.me for any lawful personal, educational, or commercial purpose, including:

  • Sharing long URLs on social media, messaging apps, or emails
  • Creating short links for marketing or promotional content
  • Simplifying URLs in print or digital documents

3. Prohibited Use

You must NOT use clkr.me to shorten URLs that link to:

  • Malware, viruses, spyware, or other malicious software
  • Phishing pages or fraudulent websites
  • Content that exploits or harms minors in any way
  • Illegal content under the laws of India or the destination country
  • Spam campaigns or bulk unsolicited messages
  • Sites that violate the intellectual property rights of others
  • Hate speech, harassment, or targeted abuse

4. No Guarantee of Availability

clkr.me is provided "as-is" with no uptime guarantee. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice. Since the service stores no data, there is no data to back up or return to you upon discontinuation.

5. Limitation of Liability

clkr.me accepts no liability for the content of destination URLs. We do not review, monitor, or endorse any content that short links point to. Users are solely responsible for the URLs they shorten and share.

6. Note on Stateless Architecture

Because clkr.me is stateless and stores no link data, we cannot proactively monitor or block specific shortened URLs. If you encounter a short link pointing to harmful content, please report it via our Contact page and include the full short link URL.

7. Intellectual Property

The clkr.me name, logo, and website design are the property of clkr.me. You may not reproduce or replicate the brand for competing services without permission.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.
